Therapy is an investment in yourself that reaches further than the sessions themselves. What you learn, you take with you. And it stays with you long after our work together has finished.

Cancellation policy

I really appreciate it when you let me know in good time that you cannot attend a session. It lets me adjust my diary and offer that slot to other clients. Cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 48 hours in advance and you get the full amount back.

Reimbursement

Health insurance

You pay the costs yourself. They are not covered by the Dutch basic health insurance (basisverzekering). Psychosocial therapy is sometimes covered in part by supplementary health insurance, depending on your policy and your insurer. Do bear in mind that you still have to pay your own excess (eigen risico) if you have not yet had any other healthcare costs, or if your excess has not yet been fully used up by other healthcare costs. No reimbursement is possible for coaching, personal development, couples therapy or therapy for parents. That applies to every insurer. To avoid disappointment, I recommend contacting your health insurer beforehand and asking about reimbursement for psychological care by a NIP-registered psychologist. It helps to have these codes to hand: AGB code (practitioner) 94117510 and AGB code (practice) 94068644. That way you know exactly where you stand before we begin.

Through your employer

More and more employers are investing in the mental wellbeing of their people. Sometimes there is a vitality budget, a personal development budget or another arrangement that can cover part of the cost. That also applies when you are getting support with things like stress at work, career questions, personal development and work-related coaching: subjects that health insurance does not cover, but that are directly relevant to how you function at work. It is worth asking your HR department or your manager. Every employer has its own policy on this. Sometimes an invoice is enough, sometimes your employer asks for a quotation up front or a short description of the support. Not sure how to open that conversation, or what exactly to ask for? I am happy to think it through with you.

What clients say

Deep and light at the same time, intensive but also gentle, no nonsense and with full attention to head, heart and body. It is impressive how quickly Ylonka got to the heart of what I came for. She saw what I was looking for help with perhaps even sooner than I did myself.
